Rules that apply to shops and sellers on TELQA
These terms apply to any natural or legal person who wishes to open a shop and sell products on TELQA. By creating your seller account you accept these terms in full.
TELQA provides you with an online space, your shop, to present, promote and sell your products to the platform's buyers. We act as a technical and commercial intermediary and are not a party to the sales contract concluded between you and the buyer, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
To register as a seller you must be of age and legally capable of contracting, or duly authorised to represent a legal entity. Where your activity requires it, you must also provide a commercial register extract or any document evidencing your commercial activity in accordance with Algerian regulations, as well as accurate, complete and up-to-date information when registering: your identity, contact details, bank details and the category of products you wish to sell. We reserve the right to verify this information, to request additional supporting documents, and to refuse, suspend or terminate any seller account that does not comply with these terms or the applicable regulations. You alone are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity carried out from your account.
By selling on TELQA you undertake to offer only lawful products that comply with Algerian regulations, excluding any food product, prohibited, second-hand, dangerous or regulated product without the required authorisations. You undertake to provide accurate, complete and non-misleading descriptions, photos and product information, to meet the processing and shipping times announced on the platform, and to guarantee the conformity and quality of your products in accordance with Algerian consumer-protection law. You also undertake to handle return and refund requests under the conditions set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy, and to respect third parties' intellectual property rights in the presentation of your products. Finally, you undertake not to encourage buyers to complete a transaction outside TELQA.
You alone are responsible for the content of the product listings you publish, including the name, category, description, price, photos, characteristics and stock. We reserve the right to remove, suspend or modify any listing that does not comply with these terms or the applicable regulations, or that is judged misleading, including without notice in an emergency. You undertake to keep your stock levels up to date so as to avoid selling unavailable products.
TELQA charges a commission on every successful sale made through the platform, at the rate set for your shop — 7% by default — calculated on the sale price of the items excluding delivery fees; no fixed fee or subscription is charged. A sale is successful when the order is closed, i.e. 48 hours after delivery with no return request; a cancelled, undelivered or returned order carries no commission. When a TELQA-funded discount (promo code or TELQA promotion) was applied to a sale, TELQA credits you the amount of that discount: your sale price does not change. For cash-on-delivery orders, the amount collected is handed to you directly by the courier; for card orders, the amount collected by TELQA, less the commission, is owed to you. A statement is drawn up for each monthly billing cycle of your shop, showing the commissions due, the TELQA discounts and card sales owed to you, and the net balance. A commission invoice is payable within 7 days of its billing date; an invoice unpaid at its due date suspends the publication of your products until it is settled. The balance owed to you is paid by bank transfer after the statement is closed. You remain solely responsible for your tax and reporting obligations, in accordance with Algerian law.
You are responsible for preparing your orders and handing them to the platform's partner couriers within the announced times. For a cash-on-delivery order, you confirm the order with the buyer before shipping it. You define the delivery wilayas you cover, among Algeria's 58 wilayas, and, where applicable, your free-delivery conditions, within the limits offered by the platform.
A buyer has 48 hours after the courier records delivery to request a return, in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy. You answer each request from your dashboard: by accepting, you tell the buyer how to send the parcel back; by declining, you give them the reason. Return shipping is at your expense, whatever the reason, under the terms of your contracts with the couriers; where your courier offers it, you can book a pickup from the buyer through the platform. The buyer's refund is triggered when you confirm receipt of the parcel, or when the courier reports its hand-over; no commission is due on a returned sale. After 48 hours with no return request, the order is closed and is definitively yours. TELQA does not arbitrate these returns, but may step in in case of repeated disputes or clear disregard of this policy.
How we collect, use and protect your personal data, and that of your buyers when you have access to it to fulfil an order, is described in detail in our privacy policy, available separately on the platform. As a seller, you undertake never to use a buyer's personal data for any purpose other than fulfilling their order, in particular for unauthorised commercial prospecting. By using TELQA you acknowledge that you have read our privacy policy.
You warrant that you hold all necessary rights to the content, photos, texts, trademarks and logos you publish on the platform, and you indemnify TELQA against any third-party claim in that respect. By publishing content on TELQA you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use that content for the operation, promotion and indexing of the platform.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate, temporarily or permanently, your access to the platform in case of breach of these terms or the applicable regulations, or of conduct harmful to buyers or to TELQA's reputation. You may request the closure of your account at any time, subject to the processing of orders in progress and the settlement of the sums owed to you.
You remain solely responsible for the conformity of your products, the fulfilment of your orders and compliance with the regulations applicable to your commercial activity. TELQA cannot be held responsible for disputes concerning the quality, conformity or delivery of your products, those obligations being your exclusive responsibility, subject to mandatory legal provisions.
Any complaint about the operation of the platform may be addressed to our seller support at support@telqa.dz. These terms are governed by Algerian law, and any dispute about their interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Algerian courts.
We may change these terms and the commercial conditions that apply to you. If we make a significant change, we will inform you by an appropriate means. Continuing to use TELQA after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
For any question about these terms or the commercial conditions applicable to your shop, you can write to us at support@telqa.dz or by post to the address of our registered office.
